Kim Beyers - Electric Guitar/Vocals,
Kim comes from a famly of Musicians so it is only natural for him to play music..
I picked up guitar in my early teens. I started gigging in college while at U of Oregon with several different bands. In 1981 I wanted to get serious about a career playing guitar, so went to The Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) in Hollywood.
That was a favorite time of my life. All guitar and heavy duty music,24 -7.
I was exposed to the greatest teachers and players on the planet.
One of the highlights was carrying Eddie Van Halen's amp out to his car, he is very mellow, a humble dude.
After graduating Musicians Institute-Kim came back to Oregon to play with a local top-40 group, Bartok.
Switching to Country in 86 with the Kaen Rd band.
Kim had the honor of playing with The Stephanie Michals band. Kim performed in a 42 show midwest and northern Washington tour. Also did Casino gigs at Spirit Mtn, and in Northern Washington.
Randal, being from the same musical family as Kim, started playing piano and percussion at the tender age of 5, he picked up the bass guitar at the age of 14 and immediately got in a band with 5 friends from school.
One band lead to another and he’s been playing ever since; During his professional career he has played everything from the classics to metal, and had the honor to share the stage with the likes of Paul Revere and the Raiders, Eric Burden and War, and Deep Purple.
He has also done sound technician work for various indoor and outside venues around the state.
Terry has been in the PNW music scene for the last 45 years, from the Rodeo Band in the 80's to the 45th Fret in the Now, he has done it all!
His steady beat in the backline of Cool Change PDX makes this not just a good band, But a great Band!
